DeNapoli, the most<br />

experienced of the junior<br />

midfielders, played in all 14<br />

games last year and tallied<br />

nine goals and three assists.<br />

He played on the second<br />

midfield with Coholan, who<br />

also played in all 14 games<br />

and posted three goals and<br />

three assists. Jones played in<br />

14 games and added six goals<br />

and three assists and could be<br />

the third member of the second<br />

midfield.<br />

Sorichetti, who was an All-<br />

CAA Rookie team selection<br />

last season, tallied nine goals<br />

and six assists in 14 games<br />

and also played on the Pride’s<br />

man-up unit. DiGiovanni, an<br />

All-New Jersey selection who<br />

tallied 274 points during his<br />

scholastic career at Cranford<br />

(NJ) High School, had an<br />

impressive fall as did Rambo, an All-Pennsylvania pick at<br />

Abington (PA) Senior High School who posted 109 goals,<br />

62 assists and 300 ground balls during his career. Braddish,<br />

turnovers as a junior, could also see time at close defense<br />

as well. Sophomores Jerry Nobile (Bay Shore, NY) and<br />

Michael Hamilton (Brighton, MI) and senior Tom Ferry<br />

(Wilmington, DE) will<br />

battle it out for the other<br />

pole spot. Nobile, who<br />

played in four games<br />

last year, has great<br />

athleticism. Hamilton,<br />

who played in seven<br />

games and tallied two<br />

goals and one assist in<br />

2010, is being moved<br />

from the offensive<br />

midfield and has shown a<br />

big presence at the pole.<br />

Ferry, who has battled<br />

injuries since arriving at<br />

<strong>Hofstra</strong> in 2009, will be<br />

looking for playing time<br />

at the pole as well.<br />

At the short-stick middie<br />

spot, the Pride will have<br />

two experienced seniors<br />

manning the position<br />

and two more pushing<br />

them. Steven DeNapoli<br />

(Hewlett, NY), who<br />

posted a team-high 49
