2011 Outlook
Braddish (West Islip, NY) will
battle during the preseason.
DeNapoli, the most
experienced of the junior
midfielders, played in all 14
games last year and tallied
nine goals and three assists.
He played on the second
midfield with Coholan, who
also played in all 14 games
and posted three goals and
three assists. Jones played in
14 games and added six goals
and three assists and could be
the third member of the second
midfield.
Sorichetti, who was an All-
CAA Rookie team selection
last season, tallied nine goals
and six assists in 14 games
and also played on the Pride’s
man-up unit. DiGiovanni, an
All-New Jersey selection who
tallied 274 points during his
scholastic career at Cranford
(NJ) High School, had an
impressive fall as did Rambo, an All-Pennsylvania pick at
Abington (PA) Senior High School who posted 109 goals,
62 assists and 300 ground balls during his career. Braddish,
a transfer
from North
Carolina,
along with
Pezzolla and
Wright, who
each played
in four
games last
season, will
battle for
playing time.
At the longstick
spot,
senior Adam
Mojica
(Springfield,
PA) returns
to a starting
role after
playing in
all 14 games
last season.

team selection who recorded 32 ground balls and forced 11
turnovers as a junior, could also see time at close defense
as well. Sophomores Jerry Nobile (Bay Shore, NY) and
Michael Hamilton (Brighton, MI) and senior Tom Ferry
(Wilmington, DE) will
battle it out for the other
pole spot. Nobile, who
played in four games
last year, has great
athleticism. Hamilton,
who played in seven
games and tallied two
goals and one assist in
2010, is being moved
from the offensive
midfield and has shown a
big presence at the pole.
Ferry, who has battled
injuries since arriving at
Hofstra in 2009, will be
looking for playing time
at the pole as well.
At the short-stick middie
spot, the Pride will have
two experienced seniors
manning the position
and two more pushing
them. Steven DeNapoli
(Hewlett, NY), who
posted a team-high 49
