Locker Room and Team Benches and Uniforms Information
Visiting team locker room is located underneath the north west stands at Shuart Stadium.
Teams will be provided with towels and drinks in the locker room. The visitor’s bench is
located on the side of the field opposite of the press box (east side). Hofstra will wear
Blue tops and White pants for all home games.
Tailgating Information
Tailgating is allowed in the parking lots surrounding the stadium. However, visiting
teams tailgate will take place in the east parking lot of Shuart stadium. Hofstra University
does not allow kegs of beer and gas grills in the parking lots outside of Shuart Stadium.
Coaches Boxes, Press, Filming and Telephone Information
The visiting team coach’s box is located on the fourth floor of the stadium building in
room 403. Visiting Sports Information Director can sit in the press box which is located
on the fourth floor of the stadium. All press conferences will take place in the theater
located in Margiotta hall on the basement floor. If you desire to film you may do so from
the roof of the Stadium Building or the north stands. If telephone lines are needed please
contact the sports information contact provided on this page three weeks ahead of time.
The charge of the line will be $100 per line.
Ticket and Parking Information
Teams will receive 200 complimentary tickets. Team’s complimentary list can be
dropped off at the ticket box office at Shuart Stadium. Team vans or buses can be parked
on the east side of Shuart stadium near the visiting team locker room.

SPORTS MEDICINE INFORMATION
Hofstra University’s athletic trainers are all members of the National Athletic Trainers'
Association (NATA). The NATA is a professional organization recognized by the
American Medical Association, which was established for the purpose of advancing,
assisting, and educating athletic trainers.
Services
The athletic training room is located in Margiotta Hall. An athletic trainer will be on site
2 hours prior to a home event. Water, cups, and injury ice will be provided; crutches and
a splint bag will be readily available on the sidelines.
Visiting team traveling without an athletic trainer are requested to call and alert our staff
48 hours in advance in order to inform us of any special treatment/taping needs. We also
ask that these teams are provided with a medical kit and proper supplies, along with water
bottles.
An ambulance will be on site for all football games.

If an athlete is injured and the extent of the injury requires the athlete to go to the
Emergency Room, the athlete will be transported to:
