Grasso SH Technical features ° Integration of package components ° Integration of oil management system ° Compact design ° Suitable for all standard DIN-flange motors ° Rotors fully bedded on roller bearings ° Capacity and Vi control by parallel slide system The Grasso SH series comes in four sizes can cover swept volumes ranging from 231 to 372 m 3 /h. The simple design is owed by the integration of the complete oil management system with only one oil connection and important package elements in the compressor. The screw compressors come equipped with connections for monitoring pressure and temperature, for position displays on the control screen, and for controlling the integrated solenoid valve assembly for combined Vi part load adjustment. The direct assignment of the solenoid valves to Vi and part load regulation and the connection of pressure and temperature sensors on the compressor ease assembly and service work on the package. The parallel slide system allows for Vi optimization and part load adaptation to take place simultaneously and independently of one another. It means that even in part load operations a low-loss work process is possible for the screw compressor. Grasso MC The Grasso MC series comes in four sizes with a swept volume ranging from 471 to 860 m 3 /h. They have a simple and compact design between the compressor and package, where some unit components may come already integrated such as a suction side non-return valve, suction filter, an oil pump along with an oil and hydraulic system with the appropriate solenoid valve assemblies for Vi and part load adjustment. The control lines for the solenoid valve for Vi part load controls are connected directly to the compressor. Grasso LT The Grasso LT series comes in fourteen sizes and with a swept volume ranging from 805 to 8,560 m 3 /h. Due to the combined sleeve and antifriction bearing in the rotors, the compressor has an extremely long life span and low noise and vibration levels. Technical features ° Excellent noise and vibration characteristics in all operating conditions ° Extremely long product lifetime ° Rotors have antifriction and sleeve bearings for maximum loads ° Stepless capacity and Vi control by tandem slide system Grasso AC The Grasso AC 130 bar screw compressor was specially developed for air conditioning and heat pump applications using the natural refrigerants CO 2 and NH 3 . It has a swept volume from 60 to 155 m 3 /h. The high pressure compressor can be used in transcritical CO 2 heat pumps for larger temperature ranges when preparing hot water on an industrial scale. Regardless of the temperature profile it will be possible to heat water from 20 °C to more than 80 °C using CO 2 as heat pump fluid. To increase the performance, the compressor may also be operated with an economizer.
