DFTG 1113, <strong>Technical</strong> Drawing V<br />
As a student at <strong>Georgia</strong> <strong>Northwestern</strong> <strong>Technical</strong> <strong>College</strong>, you are required to maintain a<br />
positive level of work ethics. By practicing work ethics everyday in the classroom, you<br />
are preparing for the skills needed to be a successful employee. Because of these<br />
occupational and work habits, the lab will be treated like a work environment. You will<br />
be evaluated on your demonstration on the following work ethic categories. Each week<br />
you will focus on the given topic as you build habits from the previous week. Weeks 11-<br />
15 will allow for reflection and practice of all work ethics skills covered in the term.<br />

<strong>Assignments</strong><br />
The assignments listed below must be submitted in a timely manner.<br />
<strong>Assignments</strong> must be submitted for grading every week in order to get the<br />
necessary feedback from the instructor that will help the student learn from<br />
potential mistakes. <strong>Assignments</strong> will not be accepted on the last day of class<br />
without penalty.

Read Chapter 13, Working Drawings.<br />
*If you are using the 13th Edition of this text, then read<br />
Chapter 12, Working Drawings.<br />
3. Lab Application No. 1: (<strong>Technical</strong> Drawing 14th<br />
Edition) Chapter 13, Exercise 13.38, Tool Post. This should<br />
be completed as a Detail Drawing.<br />
*If you are using the 13th Edition of this text , then Chapter<br />
12, Exercise 12.38, Tool Post.<br />
Directions: Review rules for simplified drafting from chapter.<br />
Draw problem as a detail drawing and include all necessary<br />
views, finish marks, dimensions and notes. Plot drawing and<br />
have the instructor check your work when complete.<br />
