Alcoholic Beverage Trade Practice Regulations<br />

As a result of the Alcoholic Beverage Trade Practices Forum on July 15, 2008, and subsequent<br />

comment period from August 20 – September 10, 2008, MATT Regulatory Division has issued<br />

administrative interpretations and proposed regulatory actions for the Alcoholic Beverage Trade Practices<br />

- COMAR 03.02.05, effective October 1, 2008.<br />

These administrative interpretations and proposed regulations can be found on the MATT<br />

Regulatory Division website as an attachment to AB–59 bulletin @<br />

Also, please be advised that the proposed regulations should be promulgated in October 2008, and<br />

will appear in the Maryland Register issued by the Division of State Documents, Office of the Secretary<br />

of State. You will have the opportunity to submit comments during the statutory 30-day period before the<br />

regulations become final.<br />
