St. Anton am Arlberg: „Snowman Card“ for children under eight

Children up to the age of eight can ski or
snowboard for the whole 2011/2012 winter season
at St. Anton am Arlberg for only ten Euros. With
the "Snowman Card" small winter sports fans can
use the entire Arlberg skiing area with 280
kilometres of marked runs and 84 mountain cable
cars and lifts.

The Snowman Card for ten euros (for children born from 2004 onwards) is a worthwhile bonus for
young families of all types whether they are holiday-makers, long-term guests or regularly returning
visitors – this season ticket is valid up to the end of the winter season 2011/2012. Director of
Tourism, Martin Ebster, himself a father of two children, holds service for families close to his heart:
"Even though our skiing area is considered demanding, St. Anton am Arlberg is a resort for the
whole family with established ski runs, reserved especially for the little piste mice".

The ski schools in St. Anton am Arlberg are also flexible to the different needs of the small guests
and families. The weekly programmes in the ski schools are packed with many highlights including
a tombola, a ski race and children's après ski, all watched over good humouredly by Hoppl the
Hare and Kiki. Several child-friendly snow-paradises with fairy tale meadows and off-piste
"grounds" are at the disposal of the ski munchkins. For mini skiers, who are already mini-experts
on the boards, the fun can be found further up the slopes.
Whether child-oriented teaching or talent advancement - skiing or snowboarding is an adventure
for children in the Tyrolean winter destination. Midday support and lunch are part of the ski schools'
programmes. This is one of the reasons why kids quickly feel at home with their new friends from
all over the world and parents can enjoy relaxed skiing fun on the slopes.
