Given these volumes, “Essential Enablers” ‐ such as accurate,
high quality bar coding for logistics units, trade units and
consumer units ‐ are immensely important to us.

Vendor Capability Essential Enablers
• Logistic Unit Bar Coding
• Trade Unit Bar Coding
• Inbound Service Level (IBSL)
– Measurement of in‐full and on‐time
delivery –up to 60 minutes prior or
30 minutes after scheduled booking time
• Guaranteed Purchase Order Acknowledgement (GPOA)
– Confirmation of supply of stock within 3 business hours of PO receipt
• Packaging & Barcode Specifications
• Fundamental to efficient and accurate receipt
• Necessary for pallet traceability (esp. recall/withdrawal)
•Out‐of‐spec labelling causes delays, longer turnaround,
increased costs, receiving errors (eg. wrong product),
rejection on Infeed…and potential rejection of your load.
– Requirements to ensure safe and quick movement of stock through the supply chain & stores
