modest and appropriate dress
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment. ... Instead, it
should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and
quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. I Peter 3:3-4
Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness
and patience. Colossians 3:12
All members of the Harding community are expected to maintain standards of modesty and
decency in dress appropriate to the Christian lifestyle and consistent with professional employment
expectations. For these reasons, students are expected to adhere to an established dress code.
Additional standards of dress may be required by certain academic or extracurricular programs.
