Extensive background in observational cosmology, galaxy formation and evolution, and formation of large<br />

scale structure. Very experienced in reducing, analysing and interpreting large sets of optical and infrared imaging<br />

and multi-object spectroscopy data. Able to work with large survey databases (SDSS, UKIDSS, VISTA,<br />

PanStarrs). Experience with testing and commissioning of new instruments. Thorough knowledge of the technical<br />

and scientific aspects of the E-ELT. Extensive expertise in IDL, IRAF, SQL, Latex and the X-Shooter<br />

pipeline.<br />
