SAMPLE SPEAKING TASK<br />
(Given to examinees in stage two of the test)<br />
Examiner 1 tells the examinees that they are members of their town’s Inter-High School Award<br />
Screening Committee. The local high schools are introducing an Outstanding Student Achievement<br />
Award. The candidates have been narrowed down to four. Each committee member is given an<br />
information sheet with descriptions of two of the candidates. They must decide together which<br />
graduating student is best qualified to receive the award.<br />
