LINEMAN SNAKE GRI PPER
Purposes of the inventIon: This invention presents a unique and
ingenious lineman pller with a snake gripper that will enable an
electrician to pull or push a snake through enclosed raceways. It is
designed to give leverage to the hand with the help of specially
designed non-slip handles making the electrician's job easier,
safer, and allowing the job to be done in less time. One of the
greatest problems confronting electricians is pulling or pushing
a snake through the degree bends of a raceway. The most com·
manly used tool for thiS chore is the jaw of an electrician's pliers.
The trouble with this tool is a lack of leverage, whereas the electrician
must squeeze the handles with great pressure and the jaws
still would slip sometimes causing injury to the hand and also con·
suming time and energy. This mvention prevents both of these
occurrences. The novel features of this invention are covered by a
patent application now pending in the United States and Canada
THIN WALL TUBING DEBURRING TOOL
Purpose of the Invention: Thl~ debumng tool is constructed in a manner
whereby both the inner and outer surfaces of a tubing section end may be
deburred without reversi ng the tool relative to the workpiece. Further, the
deburring tool is also constructed in a manner whereby the inner and outer
surfaces of a tube section end may be simultaneously deburred, within a given
working range of the tool. Finally, the cutting blades or stays of the tool are
resi lient to the extent that they are flexed dUring operation and thereby compen·
sate for slight errors during manual use of the tool to enable even and accurate
deburring of both the inner and outer peripheries of a tubing section end. The
tool may be used without reversmg the tool rela tive to the workpiece, be used
rapidly and manually and simultaneously deburrs the inner and outer surfaces
of the tubing end. The tool is patented and available to ISEW members for
$6.00.
