Dear Sir/Madam,
Subject: Saudi Agro-Food Fair, September 15-18, 2013
India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) under the Ministry of Commerce,
Government of India, in coordination with Embassy of India, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is
once again announcing India’s national participation in Saudi Agro- Food Fair,
banner of ITPO participated in the Saudi Agro Food 2012 which include Ministry of
Food Processing Industries (MFPI), Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export
Development Authority (APEDA). India’s huge agro resource base and a host of
natural advantages make it an Indian agro exports alone totalled $15599 million
$1040 million. Major products being exported to Saudi Arabia are rice, buffalo and
agriculture projects as well as to acquire land abroad to ensure food security,
offering $800 million to Saudi Companies for Agricultural Investment and Animal
Production.
This is one of the most important trade fair in this region for Agriculture and
agro- food across the middle-east countries. This exhibition creates a mega platform
for net-working, doing business and signing deals for the agriculture and agro-food
sector. During last year event 400 global exhibitors from 22 countries participated in
