q)Commisary--- complete exterior <strong>of</strong> Commissary Building all around with<br />
exterior door/windows, exhaust fan grill, exposed pipes, over-hangs etc.<br />
TIME PERIODE; the contractor shall be given total 50 working days to<br />
complete this project after the receipt <strong>of</strong> letter to proceed.<br />
Note: Contractor shall verify availability <strong>of</strong> all material required as per scope <strong>of</strong><br />
work and accordingly bid for it. The contractor shall use make and brand <strong>of</strong><br />
material as mentioned in the scope <strong>of</strong> work or equivalent makes after approval<br />
from COR.<br />
The contractor shall complete the entire job as mention in the scope <strong>of</strong><br />
work within given time frame and then prepare punch list along with<br />
supervisor <strong>of</strong> the job. All the punch list items shall also be completed<br />
before or on completion date.<br />
SCOPE OF WORK<br />
1. The contractor shall provide and paint the exterior <strong>of</strong> all the <strong>building</strong>s as<br />
given above with minimum two coats <strong>of</strong> paint including pipes, overhang,<br />
gates and parapet wall with exterior emulsion water base paint” matching to<br />
existing” OR <strong>Embassy</strong> approved color.<br />
2. The contractor shall wash entire area/surface to be painted prior to start<br />
new <strong>painting</strong>. The metal work, gates, widow grills etc. shall be painted with<br />
enamel paint as per existing finish.<br />
3. The contractor shall remove all loose/peeling paint, mildew, fungus with<br />
wire brush and clean surfaces <strong>of</strong> dust, dirt, oil, grease etc. before <strong>painting</strong>.<br />
4. The contractor shall remove any tree roots from exterior surfaces and seal<br />
the holes with wediseals.<br />
5. The contractor shall provide a coat <strong>of</strong> cement primer on repaired surfaces<br />
before <strong>painting</strong>.<br />
REPAIRS:<br />
Any crack, loose/dead plaster or cement concrete shall be removed before<br />
<strong>painting</strong> and repair the same as per following:<br />

Repair shall be done with similar material that matches as closely as possible to<br />
existing plaster in texture and color.<br />
The contractor shall remove only loose plaster /concrete/cracks and redo<br />
the same with 1:4 cement plaster/ 1:2:4 cement concrete, matching to<br />
existing finish. The contractor shall apply a coat <strong>of</strong> cement based epoxy<br />
modified bonding agent before new plastering/concreting.<br />
