Treatment • Treatment of a first unprovoked seizure is controversial but most will do so if any of the following are noted: – Focal onset – EEG abnormalities noted – MRI abnormality in cortical gray noted • All anticonvulsants have the same efficacy for most seizure types-they differ in side effects
