Features & Benefits
High Grade Specification
Main Applications
Body designed for very high cavititation resistance
Cavitation is a physical phenomenon, which can arise in liquids. It describes the transition phase between liquid and vapor
conditions caused by high flow velocity.
The ES valve body and internal design, allows the cavitation energy to dissipate without causing any damage to the valve.
Pressure Reducing Systems
Establishing various pressure zones is one of
the most common means to achieve balance in
water transmission and distribution networks.
Pressure-Reducing Valves (PRV) “force” the
dynamic parameters of the supply system into
a constant predetermined delivery pressure.
"Active PRV," through definition of minimum
B
required pressure at each pressure zone’s critical
point, enables continuous readjustment of
delivery pressure. This allows the system to work
at a lower average pressure, to reduce water
leaks and reduce burst frequencies.
Pressure Relief / Sustaining Applications
Pressure-Relief/Sustaining Valves protect pumps
and water distribution systems from two extreme
situations:
1) When installed off-line, they relieve damaging
excessive pressure.
2) When installed in-line, they sustain minimum
back-pressure thus prioritizing pressure zones,
preventing line emptying, pump overload, etc.
Because of the very high cavitation resistance, the cavitation damage zone in the WD-ES valves is much smaller than in standard
valves. An inlet/outlet pressure ratio of about 12:1 can be reached, adding a large operational area to better utilize the valve.
Float controlled valves combine the advantages
of excellent hydraulic control valves with the
simplicity of mechanical floats. The ability to
separate the main valve from the float eliminates
most of the installation and maintenance
problems associated with mechanical float valves.
The wide selection of floats types makes Float
Control Valves the solution wherever level control
is required.
