A distinctive characteristic of Boileau is the high<br />
quality of their editions, as it has been widely<br />
recognised in the musical field. Boileau, in addition<br />
to publishing works of the main contemporary<br />
authors of our country, tries to recover works of<br />
authors of the last century that in his day, because<br />
of the war and postwar period and to the little<br />
musical tradition in Spain, could not edit, by what<br />
the composers opted for editing his works abroad.<br />
Samples of their more ambitous projects have<br />
been the publication of the complete piano works<br />
by Granados (reviewed by Alicia de Larrocha), the<br />
complete works by Joaquin Malats, Pau Casals, and<br />
the complete piano works by Mompou.<br />
