I led a team of Nepali and international researchers that conducted a case study investigating <br />

loss and damages resulting from changes in climate in southeastern Nepal. We are now <br />

producing policy recommendations and academic publications based on this research. <br />

I am advising a USAID-­‐funded community forestry project in Liberia, including the drafting of <br />

training manuals and curricula for the national Forestry Training Institute. I was also a senior <br />

member of the ARD team that evaluated USAID-­‐funded projects in Tibetan areas of China. <br />

I wrote grants, trained staff, planned project implementation, and provided monitoring and <br />

evaluation services for Winrock’s USAID-­‐funded projects in Tibetan areas of China. <br />

I monitored TPAF’s rural development projects in the Tibet Autonomous Region (PRC) and <br />

evaluated their micro-­‐credit loans, resource management training, and capacity building <br />

I consulted on mitigation and restoration of development-­‐related activities in southern <br />

California including wetland permitting, environmental impact assessments, endangered <br />
