AbOUT ThE UsCA<br />
The United States <strong>Curling</strong> <strong>Association</strong> is the National Governing Body of<br />
the sport of curling in the United States and has its national office in Stevens<br />
Point, Wis.<br />
As the NGB for the sport of curling, the <strong>USCA</strong> strives to grow the sport and<br />
to win medals in world championships and Olympic Games. The <strong>USCA</strong> is a<br />
member of the World <strong>Curling</strong> Federation and the U.S. Olympic Committee.<br />

The purpose of the <strong>USCA</strong>’s Athletes Advisory Council is to provide comprehensive<br />
guidance and/or recommendations to the <strong>USCA</strong> on any issue relating<br />
to athletes. The mission of the AAC is to provide guidance to the <strong>USCA</strong> as the<br />
collective voice of elite athletes in the United States. AAC members make up 20<br />
percent of the <strong>USCA</strong> Board of Directors.<br />
