How Olympic berths are gained:<br />

At the conclusion of the 2013 World Champoinships, the top seven nations plus<br />

Russia as host earn berths to the 2014 Olympic Games. The final two spots will<br />

be determined at a World <strong>Curling</strong> Federation challenge event Dec. 11-14, 2013<br />

(site TBA) to bring the total field to 10 teams.<br />
