How Olympic berths are gained:
At the conclusion of the 2013 World Champoinships, the top seven nations plus
Russia as host earn berths to the 2014 Olympic Games. The final two spots will
be determined at a World Curling Federation challenge event Dec. 11-14, 2013
(site TBA) to bring the total field to 10 teams.
