<strong>GS1</strong> Application Identifiers (AIs)<br />
Amount Payable/Pricing Identification<br />
The following AIs identify amount payable <strong>and</strong> pricing identification. Where the fourth digit is “n”, this is the decimal point<br />
indicator, which shows where the decimal point belongs in the actual data. A fourth digit of 0 means that there is no<br />
decimal point <strong>and</strong> the digit 1 means that the decimal point is 1 position before the last digit of the amount payable.<br />
• AI (390n) - Amount payable – Single monetary area; see page 112<br />
• AI (391n) - Amount payable – With ISO currency code; see page 113<br />
• AI (392n) - Amount payable for a variable measure trade item – Single monetary unit; see page 113<br />
• AI (393n) - Amount payable for a variable measure trade item – With ISO currency code; see page 114<br />
• AI (8005) - Price per unit of measure; see page 132<br />
• AI (8007) - International Bank Account Number (IBAN); see page 134<br />

identification number of the trade item contained. When printed in a bar code on a trade item references supply extra<br />
information which may be useful for organisational purposes.<br />
