1.What is <strong>RPP</strong>?<br />
The Rental Partnership Program(<strong>RPP</strong>) is designed to assist military and<br />
DoD civilian personnel and their families in locating affordable, secure,<br />
quality off-base rental property.<br />
The program is offered to personnel eligible for the CFAY housing referral<br />
services.<br />
Units meet DoD housing acceptability criteria, including many American<br />
features such as screens on all windows, sufficient electricity, parking and<br />
proximity to Commander, Fleet Activities, Yokosuka.<br />
Minimum 12-month lease. A 30 days notice is required to vacate after 12<br />
months.<br />
No security deposit, No landlord’s and house agent fees.<br />
Every room is equipped with individual air conditioning/heating unit.<br />
Furnished with appliances such as refrigerator, washer, dryer, cooking<br />
stove and dishwasher.<br />

5.Services provided<br />
Front desk service<br />
The front desk is on the first floor. Our friendly staff is available to assist<br />
you and your families while you adjust to your life in Japan. Working<br />
hours are from 9:00am to 9:00pm.<br />
Shuttle bus service<br />
Free shuttle buses will make daily runs to the base. (mon-fri)<br />

Parking<br />
1 free parking spot is available per room.<br />
Party room<br />
The party room is available for all residents.<br />
The only requirement is you must reserve the room 1 week prior to your<br />
function. Reservation can be made at the front desk.<br />
Guest room<br />
In the event you expect more guests than your room can hold, a guest<br />
room will be provided at a reasonable price.<br />
24 hour security system<br />
24 hour security system is installed in all rooms.<br />
On your voice/camera intercom, an emergency button will notify the 24<br />
hour on duty security personnel in case of any emergency.<br />
AFN, CATV and Internet connections<br />
You can easily install AFN, CATV and Internet, if you desire.<br />
CFAY housing self-help will provide you with a free satellite and AFN<br />
service.<br />

6.LOCATION<br />
SAKURA RESIDENCE is located on the south-east side from the base.<br />
Driving time to the base is approximately 20 minutes.<br />
Time to the train station, 10 minutes by bus, 20 minutes by foot.<br />
The train takes approximately 10 minutes to get to the train station downtown<br />
Yokosuka. Then it takes 5 minutes to walk to the naval base.<br />

7.How to reserve a room?<br />
1. Choose the room you want to reserve from the room list.<br />
2. Send an e-mail to Yokosuka Housing Welcome Center with your<br />
name and the room number you want to reserve.<br />
Address : Yokosuka@housing.navy.mil<br />
3. Yokosuka Housing Welcome Center will let you know if your<br />
reservation is successful.<br />
‣ You can cancel at any time if you’re not satisfied with the room upon arrival.<br />
‣ The reservation will expire 10 days after GW arrives at Yokosuka. (About<br />
the end of August). Within 10 days from arrival, please go to Housing<br />
Welcome Center at Naval Base Yokosuka, and sign up for <strong>RPP</strong> tour.<br />
