Engaging with Intellectual Life
During this time you will participate in a
conversation facilitated by faculty and staff
about intellectual life and the academic program
at Hampshire. First-year students and transfer
students will be in separate sessions.
Orientation Group Activities
Spend the end of the day talking about what
you’ve learned, getting questions answered, and
relaxing a bit with your orientation group.

Introduction to the Climbing Wall (gym playing floor)
Give the climbing wall a try and learn about getting involved with rock climbing
at Hampshire. No experience necessary.
Pick-Up Soccer (gym playing floor)
Interested in playing soccer on a team or just for fun? Join a friendly pick-up
game and learn more about team sports at Hampshire.
Apples to Apples: The Game of Hilarious Comparisons (2nd floor)
Apples to Apples is an award-winning party game that will have everyone
laughing. Join orientation leaders and other new students for this fun-filled
experience. The more participants, the better!
