Central Check-In<br />

This is the official process of enrolling in the<br />

college. Plan to arrive early to get everything<br />

complete, so you can take time to settle into your<br />

new room. Start at Adele Simmons Hall, where<br />

orientation staff will be waiting with your room keys<br />

and information about the orientation program. In<br />

addition, you will complete any remaining financial<br />

business and be issued your student ID. Payment<br />

is expected in full before you can complete the<br />

central check-in process. When you’re finished, you<br />

can move in to your room and unpack.<br />

1) a passport (current or expired), OR 2) a social<br />

security card or a certified birth certificate, AND<br />

you should go to the Center for Academic Support<br />

and to wrap up the orientation program with your<br />

group.<br />

everyone will have the opportunity to share those<br />

Mount Holyoke, and Amherst colleges, as well<br />

as the University of Massachusetts Amherst for<br />

a five college social gathering! Meet up with your<br />

orientation leaders at the main bus stop by the<br />

Robert Crown Center at 5:20 p.m., and we will<br />

take a bus to UMass together. Food, music, and<br />

prizes are in store--this is a great chance to meet<br />

other new students and check out opportunities<br />

at the other colleges.<br />
