Hornsey South Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ)
Review of parking within the CPZ
Dear Resident or Business,
Hornsey South CPZ was introduced earlier this year and we are now carrying out a review to
assess how effective the CPZ is in delivering improved parking conditions. We therefore want
to hear your views on how the parking controls are working.
We welcome views not only from vehicle owners and drivers but also from non vehicle owners
on whether the CPZ has helped deliver improvements such as clearer visibility and safety for
pedestrians. Equally we want to hear of any problems you think the CPZ has failed to tackle.
Please help us by completing the enclosed questionnaire and sending the completed form
back to us in the attached Freepost envelope. Questions about operating times are included
and it is important to note that longer operating periods - with longer periods of enforcement -
mean that visitors including trades people are more likely to require permits. Conversely, longer
operating periods are more effective at discouraging non resident parking. Please note that
the closing date for receipt of your views and comments is 20 December 2013.
We will be discussing the feedback with your ward councillors and Cabinet Member, and we
expect to be able to inform you of the results of the review in February 2014.
For more information on this survey, please email frontline.consultation@haringey.gov.uk or
call Greville Percival on 0208 489 1326. For technical enquires please contact Harji Hirani our
Project Engineer on 0208 489 1723
Thank you for your time and please complete and return the questionnaire to us as soon as
possible, as your views are important to us.
Yours faithfully,
Ann Cunningham
