Dear Sir / Madam,
RE: 6 TH UNIFORMED GROUPS BOWLING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010
Thank you very much for your support in the Bowling Championships
organised by the Hwa Chong Institution National Police Cadet Corps in the past
11 years. It is because of the strong encouragement from the schools and positive
feedback from the participants that we are able to continue organising this as an
annual event. I am pleased to inform you that this year, we will once again be
extending the Championships to members from all the Uniformed Groups in
Singapore.
2 The objectives of the Championships are to establish good rapport among
the cadets from the different Uniformed Groups by giving them an opportunity to
interact with one another and to promote a healthy lifestyle for the students. At
the same time, the Championships will serve as a prelude to the Singapore Youth
Olympic Games. The details are as follows:
• Preliminary Round: 11 June 2010 (Friday)
• Finals:
25 June 2010 (Friday)
• Venue:
Orchid Country Club Bowling Alley
• Entry Fee: S$25.00 per team of 3 bowlers and 1
reserve (compulsory)
3 I hereby cordially invite your Uniformed Group Unit to participate in the
above Championships. Secondary 1 to 5 cadets will qualify for both the Boys’
1
and Girls’ Individual and Team Championships. Each Uniformed Group Unit is invited to
send one or more boys’ teams and/or one or more girls’ teams. The Rules and Regulations
can be found in Annex A and the Entry Form can be found in Annex B.
4 I will be thankful if you can kindly fax the attached Entry Form back to us by 19 th
May 2010 (Wednesday). Please kindly send a NIL return if your Unit is not participating in
the Championships.
