Invitation to Aphelion-ProEd Welcome Night 2010 for Sec 1 Parents<br />
The Aphelion & ProEd Parent Support Groups warmly invites you to the Welcome Night for<br />
Secondary One parents and students, to be held on Friday, March 5 at the Hwa Chong<br />
Institution Boarding School Dining Hall.<br />
This event is jointly organised by the Aphelion & ProEd PSGs. It is an opportunity for parents of<br />
Sec 1 students to interact with each other over a buffet dinner and learn more about HCI<br />
programmes in an informal setting. There will be sharing by older HCI students on the challenges<br />
they faced when they were in Sec 1.<br />
The programme for the evening will be as follows:<br />

* Parents will be seated at tables arranged according to their son’s class to facilitate interaction amongst<br />
parents & students from the same class<br />
Due to limited parking lots at the boarding school, parents are advised to park their cars at the High<br />
School Section’s open/multi storey car park and take a short walk to the boarding school (see map<br />
on reverse page).<br />
We look forward to your presence at the Welcome Night 2010. The cost details can be found on<br />
the next page. Please return the attached Response Slip with the cash/cheque payment (made<br />
payable to “Hwa Chong Institution”) to your son’s form teacher by Wednesday, 24 <strong>February</strong> 2010.<br />
As we would like every parent to be informed, we are asking for a ‘NIL’ return if you are unable to<br />
