14.7 Intensive Care Clinical Information System
In 2003, the Office of the Chief Clinical Adviser established a reference group to investigate the
development and implementation of a statewide intensive clinical information system (ICCIS).
A business case was developed and provided to the ICAC in 2006. An intensive care clinical
information system will require consideration within the context of the strategic directions of the
Office of Health Information Service.
