MDT Electronics • Each 24 tube “step” of MDT chamber is provided with its own frontend readout electronics and HV distribution. • Each chamber has one Chamber Service Module to communicate with the DAQ system (U Michigan responsibility) • Harvard shared responsibility with BU for the front-end readout “Mezzanine” board as well as for the ASD chips on the board. • Mezz boards provided for both Endcap and Barrel chambers Harvard DoE Site Visit – 21 August 2006 George Brandenburg – Page 12
