Ronald joined Philips Research in 1990 as a research scientist<br />
focusing on advanced materials based device research<br />
In 1995 he moved to the Philips Research Labs in Briarcliff, US,<br />
initiating miniaturisation efforts in the field of magnetic power<br />
devices. In 1999 he became Research Director and subsequently<br />
headed several research groups within Philips Research.<br />
Currently he is Senior Business development manager in the<br />
Philips Research Strategy and Business Development office<br />
focusing on new technology based new business creation<br />
