Tecnica is a product line with linear and discrete fittings. It has a minimalist style and comes in three sizes, which guarantee maximum flexibility. Tecnica is ideal in any type of architectural space because of its low-profile visual impact. To satisfy the requirements of areas where attention to detail, visual 

comfort, and light customization are important, this product has reflectors that are interchangeable with an innovative light cone adjustment system. The vast choice of lamps combined with a set of filters, optics with a 

variety of finishes, and screens allow for a myriad of choices when creating light scenery in a variety of spaces. Tecnica was designed to guarantee maximum flexibility and usage safety. These fittings have mechanical locking mechanisms for precision aim and accessories that are interchangeable without 

the need for tools. Tecnica fittings are ideal for installation in exposition spaces such as museums, boutiques, showrooms, retail stores, malls, large department stores, and supermarkets.

Optics 

iGuzzini 

The use of innovative regulation systems for the light cone and interchangeable optics allows users to obtain the right interaction between light and materials, and to bring out customized lighting effects. Tecnica, available in both flood and spot versions, is the ideal instrument for spaces and objects that 

need precision lighting to bring out their true value. All accessory, lamp, and reflector changing operations can be performed without the use of tools to facilitate and speed up aim and maintenance. 

Flood optic 

This optic produces a homogeneous and uniform distribution of the light onto surfaces and large objects. It has a device that lets users regulate the light beam manually so that light emission can be adapted to provide different solutions; this feature is quite helpful in showrooms, exhibitions areas, and 

shows, where lighting should be changed regularly, with maximum ease and speed, in order to effectively light different objects that will change over time. 

Spot optic 

The high intensity and reduced width of the light cone allow for an excellent light direction with accent lighting, ideal when highlighting objects that are smaller in size. The spot optic also has a focusing device for the light beam, which allows users to find the perfect position of the lamp with respect to the 

reflector.

Performance 

iGuzzini 

Design and the large array of reflectors, combined with professional filters, allow users to obtain excellent lighting performance and to produce beautiful chromatic and lighting effects. The reflectors, made of ultra pure aluminium with special facets, give off highly efficient lighting and a homogeneous 

distribution of the light beam. 

The lamps have been placed more towards the rear in order to diminish glare, producing an exceptional level of visual comfort. 

The innovative "Warmtone" filter for the correction of colour temperature is a product plus of the Tecnica range. It adds value to the lamps that need to produce full warm tones. 

The "golden" reflector warms up colours, making them softer. Ideal when combined with the new sodium SDW Tg lamp to bring out a full range of red-orange tones. 

The "Coldtone" conversion filter is ideal when lighting certain objects with cold hues, creating clear and brilliant lighting, just like natural light.

Lamps 

iGuzzini 

The innovative lamps that Tecnica uses, with three sizes and various power levels, can effectively respond to various lighting needs. The new metal halide lamps are efficient and miniature, which means spotlights are smaller but have high chromatic yields. This saves quite a large amount of energy. The 

separation of the optical assembly means there is greater heat dissipation, ensuring lower temperatures, which in turn mean longer life for the components as well as the lamp. 

The table illustrates the wide range of lamps that can be utilized, their respective powers, and the various sizes of the Tecnica fittings.

Adjustability 

iGuzzini 

Tecnica allows users to rotate the spotlight 360° in relation to the vertical axis and 90° in relation to the horizontal plane. Graduated scales and mechanical locking mechanisms for precision aim also allow users to regulate inclinations with more precision, securing the fitting both on a horizontal plane and on 

a vertical axis and keeping it stable once the direction of the light beam is decided upon. Maintenance is made easier via the use of the same tool that blocks the aim once the direction of the light beam is set. These are important prerequisites in order to have a lighting system that can satisfy the needs of 

any space and any situation. 

Locking of the rotation around the vertical axis 

Tecnica can be installed not only on ceilings but also on walls, both vertically as well as horizontally, so that the fittings can be used for a myriad of lighting needs and applications.

Flexibility 

iGuzzini 

Optical assembly separated from the component compartment for better thermal balance 

Tecnica stands out because it is quite flexible and can be applied to any situation because of the interchangeable reflectors and the different accessories, both internal and external, that require no tools for installation. The fittings are in fact equipped with accessory-holder rings which can hold up to three flat 

accessories at the same time 

(for example: IR filter, UV filter, refractor) as well as an external accessory such as directional flaps, an asymmetrical screen, or an anti-glare screen. All the external accessories can be rotated up to 360° longitudinally so that light emission can be directed according to different circumstances that may arise.

New promotional requirements have now arisen, and lighting projects are now designed create an atmosphere, and spaces that are more "welcoming" works of art so that they can 

create emotions, stimuli, and scenery for museum visitors. Tecnica, with its minimal design and flexibility, is the ideal optical instrument that satisfies lighting needs for museum applications.

• Spotlights with spot optics and lamps without a reflector have a manual lamp focusing device located behind the optical assembly. 

• Spotlights with flood optics and lamps without reflectors have a manual focusing device for the light beam located behind the optical assembly. 

• Reflectors can be changed on all versions without tools by ordering the accessory item number. 

• Equipped with power supply and dimmable electronic control gear in the track box.
