Financial Data Schedule Line Definitions and Crosswalk Guide<br />
Definition: This FDS line should be used under governmental fund accounting and represents<br />
amounts received by a component unit(s) from the primary government or amounts provided<br />
by the component unit to the primary government.<br />
Crosswalk: This FDS line generally includes the amount in REAC suggested account 9116<br />
(Operating transfers from/to component unit(s)).<br />
1005 Proceeds from notes, loans and bonds<br />
Definition: This FDS line should be used under governmental fund accounting and represents<br />
amounts received as a result of the PHA borrowing funds using a note payable, entering into a<br />
loan agreement and/or from the issuance of bonds.<br />
Crosswalk: This FDS line generally includes the amount in REAC suggested account 9120<br />
(Proceeds from notes, loans and bonds).<br />
1006 Proceeds from property sales<br />
Definition: This FDS line should be used under governmental fund accounting and represents<br />
any sale of fixed assets for which proceeds are obtained. This line is used to record the sale of<br />
non-expendable equipment after the date of full availability (DOFA) or, in the case of projects<br />
conveyed for low-rent use, after the date of conveyance. The proceeds represent the total<br />
amount received for the sale of the property.<br />
Crosswalk: This FDS line generally includes <strong>HUD</strong> accounts 7530 (Receipts from nonexpendable<br />
equipment not replaced) and 7580 (Proceeds from disposition of property -<br />
reserved). These amounts may be recorded in REAC suggested account 7545 (Proceeds from<br />
property sales).<br />
1010 Total other financing sources (Uses)<br />
This FDS line represents the total expenses recorded on lines 1001 through 1006.<br />
1000 Excess (deficiency) of total revenue over (under) total expenses<br />
This FDS line is the difference between total revenue reported on FDS line 700, total expenses<br />
reported on FDS line 900 and total other financing sources (uses) reported on line 1010. FASS<br />
automatically calculates the difference between line 700, 900, and 1010.<br />
