MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<br />

• Advanced knowledge of company business & supported applications<br />

• Exposure to planning, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting system software<br />

• Knowledge of computer security procedures and protocol<br />

• This is normally acquired through a combination of a Bachelor's Degree and three to five years<br />

of application experience.<br />

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS<br />

• To learn and support new applications<br />

• Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions<br />

• Determine the nature of computer hardware and systems software problems, and to<br />

communicate technical guidance and information to users<br />

• Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems<br />

being supported<br />

• Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills<br />

• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials<br />

• Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings<br />

• Establish relationships with stakeholders, i.e. with Project Managers, application users, super<br />

users, system owners, business representatives and with 3 rd party suppliers and vendors<br />

<strong>JOB</strong> DESCIPTION<br />

• Answer staff questions in person and via phone on supported applications<br />

• Provide on-the-job training to new department staff members<br />

• Provide <strong>Application</strong> orientation to new company staff<br />

• Troubleshoot <strong>Application</strong> & System incidents and problems<br />

• Determine source of <strong>Application</strong> problems (hardware, software, user access, etc.), advise staff<br />

on appropriate action<br />

• Serve as liaison between staff and the technology department to resolve issues<br />

• Document resolutions for future reference<br />

• Work one-on-one with staff on application projects and provide recommendations on<br />

application enhancements<br />

• Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems<br />

• Analyze and evaluate present or proposed business procedures or problems to define<br />

processing needs<br />

• Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes<br />

• Record and maintain user access and security<br />

• Write and maintain operational documentation<br />
