Goal 1 - District Professional Development Goal<br />

Goal 1: District Site Administra<strong>to</strong>rs and Teachers will become proficient with the same general technology skills, technology integration skills, and information literacy<br />

skills required of students as well as proficient with work specific productivity <strong>to</strong>ols.<br />

Target Group: Certificated teachers and administra<strong>to</strong>rs<br />

Supports Curriculum Driven Technology Goals and Objectives in Component 3 of our Ed Tech Plan<br />

Specific Measurable Objectives by June 30, 2014<br />

Objective: 1a: By June 2014, 100% site administra<strong>to</strong>rs, who participate in district sponsored educational technology professional development, will become proficient<br />

with general technology knowledge and skills, integration skills, information literacy, and administration productivity <strong>to</strong>ols aligned <strong>to</strong> the NETs for administra<strong>to</strong>rs.<br />

Annual Benchmarks - Year 1: Base lining activity in the 2009-10 school year<br />

Year 2: minimum of 50% in the 2010-11 school year<br />

Year 3: minimum of 70% in the 2011-12 school year<br />

Year 4: minimum of 90% in the 2012-13 school year<br />

Year 5: minimum of 100% in the 2013-14 school year.<br />

Objective: 1b: By June 2014, 100% k-12 teachers, who participate in district sponsored educational technology professional development, will become proficient with<br />

general technology knowledge and skills, classroom productivity <strong>to</strong>ols, and information literacy skills aligned <strong>to</strong> the NETs for teachers and NETs for students. All district<br />

ELD, Special Education and GATE teachers will become proficient in technology skills and <strong>assist</strong>ive <strong>to</strong>ols for their subgroup populations.<br />

Year 2: minimum of 70% in the 2010-11 school year<br />

Year 3: minimum of 80% in the 2011-12 school year<br />

Year 4: minimum of 90% in the 2012-13 school year<br />

Year 5: minimum of 100% in the 2013-149 school year.<br />

Objective: 1c: By June 2014, 100% k-12 ELA and Math teachers, who participate in district sponsored educational technology professional development focused on<br />

CLRN and/ or SBE approved curriculum based technology resources will become proficient with technology integration.<br />

Annual Benchmarks - Year 1: Base lining activity in the 2009-10 school year<br />

Year 2: minimum of 70% in the 2010-11 school year<br />

Year 3: minimum of 80% in the 2011-12 school year<br />

Year 4: minimum of 90% in the 2012-13 school year<br />

Year 5: minimum of 100% in the 2013-14 school year.<br />

Objective: 1d:. By June 2014, the district will provide a trained technology men<strong>to</strong>r / coach <strong>to</strong> all district schools.<br />
