Rudy Giuliani can’t hide from the truth.
Rudy Giuliani isn’t qualified to be President. He shamelessly uses
the events of 9/11 for his own political gain. The truth is, Giuliani
used poor judgment leading up to and on the day of the attacks.
He was unprepared to protect New York, and he is unprepared
to lead our country.
Showed Bad Judgment
Giuliani’s lack of preparation forced fire
fighters to use radios he knew were faulty.
And it was Giuliani’s decision to build the
city’s emergency operations center in 7
World Trade Center, knowing since the ‘93
bombing that it was the primary target of
terrorists. His poor judgement left the city
without an emergency operations center on
the day it was needed most.
Hires unqualified Yes-Men
Instead of hiring a real police chief, Giuliani
appointed his driver, Bernard Kerik. He
then asked President Bush to appoint him
as Secretary of Homeland Security when
Kerik was on the verge of a federal
indictment. Giuliani would rather reward
unqualified loyal cronies than real leaders.
He can’t be trusted with decisions on such
important issues.
“America’s fire fighters know the truth about Giuliani. That’s why,
overwhelmingly, we don’t support him for Commander-in-Chief.”
—Bob Carver, Florida Professional Firefighters, President
“My son was a fire fighter who died on 9/11. I resent
Rudy Giuliani using this tragedy for his own political
gain. He isn’t a hero. He’s a coward who left our city
unprepared for a terrorist attack.”
—Deputy Chief Jim Riches, FDNY
Father of fallen fire fighter Jimmy Riches, Jr., FDNY 9/11
When you know the truth, you just can’t support Rudy Giuliani.
