Editor's Note: Nallonal Electrical Week, February 11-17 <strong>of</strong> this year was<br />
celebrated and promoted all across the United States by literally hundreds<br />
<strong>of</strong> IIU:W Local Unions.<br />
We believe It is proper that the nation reserve a week in which to<br />
pause and reflect on the Industry which assures it that its lifeblood will<br />
continue to flow, the electncal industry. Many critics are now laking alill<br />
at our Industry.<br />
Fortunately, man is endowed with the capability to provide solutions<br />
Common sense with a balanced outlook IS essential. Man must have mOlc<br />
energy and In8n must live In harmony with nature. Technol08Y holds forth<br />
the promise <strong>of</strong> accomplishment and fultillment <strong>of</strong> these twin goals.<br />
