June, 1971 when the Arst Honorary<br />
mEW Membership was Issued, the<br />
lBEW on a very selective baSIS has<br />
bestowed Honorary Membership on<br />
only 108 IIldlvlduals. Astronauts<br />
Nelson and van H<strong>of</strong>ten will mcrcase<br />
that number to 110. Those receiving<br />
Honorary Memberships have tneluded<br />
congressmen, senators, management<br />
executives, judges, gover·<br />
nors, ambassadors, clergymen,<br />
medical pr<strong>of</strong>eSSIOnals, and now the<br />
astronauts_<br />
