Willesden Junction:
Further to the last report in the November 2010 issue, the subway connecting the High Level platforms
4 & 5 to the Low Level through platforms 1 & 3 is now fully in use. This now provides a much quicker
and easier route between the HL and LL platforms with new improved spotting / photographic
opportunities. It is now easier to see and photograph freight workings on the connecting NLL without
having to leave the station or go through ticket barriers.

Stratford Station:
The work has been completed
on the ‘high level’ platforms so
that all hoarding has now gone.
Though surrounded by Olympic
building work, the revised
station looks quite smart with a
much improved open aspect to
the station. The southwestern
extension to platform 8 is now
directly opposite the DLR
platforms 4a & 4b and also now
provides a new photographic
position, especially with revised
OHL masts, as seen on the 14
February 2011 with Cls.378,
321 and 315 in platforms 1, 9 &
5 respectively
