Let (Q, T ) be an labeled transition system, and let S be<br />

a binary relation over Q. Then S is called a strong<br />

simulation over (Q, T ) if, whenever p S q,<br />

then there exists q’ ∈ Q such that q α ⎯⎯→q'<br />

and p’ S q’.<br />

We say that q strongly simulates p if there exists a<br />

strong simulation S such that p S q.<br />
