At its core, yachting has always been about personal freedom. Take command of 

the impressively equipped 520 Sedan Bridge and chart a course for your very 

own “land of liberty.” Designed for an exceptionally smooth ride and built to go 

the distance, this is a luxurious wide-beamed yacht that boasts spacious living 

quarters, a customizable cockpit, and a bounty of live-aboard appointments such 

as an optional grill.

Being behind the wheel doesn’t mean being left out aboard the 

520 Sedan Bridge. A big U-shaped conversation area forward of 

the helm keeps the captain in the mix. The passenger-friendly 

bridge offers another plush bench seat aft, plus a standard 

refrigerator and premium stereo. The high-tech helm has enough 

room for two 12” electronic displays and is protected with a 

fiberglass hardtop featuring an extra-large hatch, zip-in Eisenglass 

enclosure, and optional zone-controlled air conditioning/heating.

systems as standard or optional equipment, we are providing boaters with 

revolutionary performance, literally, thanks to 360-degree maneuverability at 

slow speeds. No matter your level of boating experience, these technologies will 

make your time on the water more carefree than ever before. 

ZEUS. Combining almost 15 years of testing and research, the Zeus system 

delivers a level of performance and control that is unparalleled in the marine industry. 

Multidirectional thrust is provided by twin Cummins MerCruiser Diesel (CMD) 

inboards and individually articulating, rear-facing pod drives. The advanced helm 

joystick used to control the system at slow speeds is touch-sensitive and can be 

operated with a single turn of the wrist. Whether at the dock or navigating a tricky 

channel, the intuitive maneuverability is simply unmatched. Pod drives have also 

been proven to convert considerable performance, with faster speeds and improved 

fuel economy. Rear-facing pod drives offer distinct advantages over forward-facing 

ones, because they are protected by the gear case and skeg. Additionally, by mounting 

the drives in tunnels, most objects will be forced downward, away from the props. By 

offering rear-facing pod drives mounted in tunnels, CMD has developed tremendous 

efficiency and performance improvements without sacrificing safety.

SKYHOOK ® . The first technology of its kind in the 

recreational marine industry, this station-keeping function allows a 

vessel to maintain position and heading at the moment of engagement, 

even in the presence of wind and current. Imagine putting your feet up 

and relaxing while waiting for a bridge opening. With the touch of a 

button, Skyhook, now standard on yachts with Zeus drive systems, 

maintains your vessel on a fixed heading within a tight area, keeping it 

from drifting and making your boating experience even better. 

JMS. The new Joystick Maneuvering System (JMS) developed by 

the ZF Marine Electronics Group is a proportional control system 

providing the helmsman with simple and intuitive boat control. JMS 

provides the same ease of control as expected from azimuth pod drive 

systems, making maneuvers such as sideways tracking to the dock and 

360-degree rotation on the spot effortless. JMS also controls the 

throttle of the engines and shifts the transmissions with automatically 

controlled trolling valves to provide the precise speed needed for 

smooth maneuvering and easy docking. The Hold Heading function, 

integrated with an electronic compass, keeps the vessel going in a 

certain direction, fine tuning the propulsion system to compensate 

for current, wind, or other external forces on the vessel. The Station 

Keeping function, integrated with a GPS receiver, enables the vessel 

to be kept at an exact position and orientation at the press of a button.

Sea Ray ® is committed to superior performance. That’s why we partner with 

MAN ® and Cummins MerCruiser Diesel (CMD) to provide propulsion 

systems with uncompromising power, reliability, and endurance. 

MAN high-speed, four-stroke diesel engines offer tremendous advantages. 

Common-rail fuel-injection systems make these engines run quieter and 

smoother, with better acceleration and less fuel consumption. Their 

compact design allows for lower weight and higher output, while the high 

torque-rise provides fast acceleration. 

The CMD diesels we use are heavy-duty, six-cylinder, inline engines with a 

four-cycle design that delivers quiet, fuel-efficient power. The Quantum 

series offers peerless durability and performance. Field-tested for thousands 

of hours in variable environments, the engines’ electronic controls sense

At Sea Ray ® we build to a higher standard. Our luxurious Yachts feature a superior 

fit and finish — among the best in the marine industry in terms of design 

excellence and customer satisfaction. Period. 

Ocean-Born Hulls. Our Yachts run on hulls that undergo extensive 

validation, culminating in six weeks of testing in the water. Fiberglass shaft tubes 

eliminate the use of screws and brackets, thereby increasing structural integrity in 

our inboard models. 

Fiberglass Bulkheads. Each bulkhead is fiberglassed to both the hull and 

the deck, creating one integral part for added strength and longevity. You’ll enjoy 

a more structurally sound vessel with less rattles and less hassles than a boat where 

bolts or other joining methods are used. 

Engine Compartments. We finish our engine compartments with gel coat 

containing a wax additive that repels water and petroleum-based products. In 

addition, our aluminum engine mounts are thru-bolted on top of the stringer 

system for long-term alignment. Each engine hatch has a rubber seal that, in 

combination with foam insulation, greatly reduces engine noise. 

Fixed Fuel Tanks. Our fuel tanks are installed with banding straps and 

rubber isolators rather than L-brackets or another non-supporting method. 

This means the tanks are secured to the mounting surface, resulting in 

less vibration and noise. 

Superior Woodworking. Our unique Cypress woodworking and finishing 

facility supplies in-house wood components. Raw wood is carefully sorted in a 

climate-controlled environment, and each piece is visually inspected before it slides 

through a sanding machine to receive a smooth surface. Next it gets a coat of stain, 

which is dried in seconds by UV lights, followed by two coats of sealer. Computer- 

controlled routers cut the parts while another machine bands the edges. The parts 

are then glossed and coated with clear polyacrylic in a dust-free “clean room” that 

helps preserve a high quality finish. This gives us a distinct advantage on our top- 

line boats. 

Optimized Design. Our owners demand design excellence aboard their 

boats, and Sea Ray delivers. Wide, deep, molded-in steps provide easy access to 

the foredeck and back. Extra-large portlights and hull windows allow natural light 

to flow throughout the spacious cabins, creating a warm and inviting interior 

ambiance. Multipurpose seating is a Sea Ray hallmark, and many of our Yachts 

feature pivoting helm seats and versatile transom benches that maximize 

entertainment and lounging space while at the dock or anchor.

Premium Hardware. Bow rails and stanchions are welded together to keep 

out moisture and prevent rust, and the base of each stanchion sits on a raised fiberglass 

toe rail to further protect against water intrusion and to add security on deck. Sea Ray 

uses only premium, 316L stainless-steel hardware. In addition to good looks, this 

material offers superior corrosion resistance and simple care requirements — so you 

can concentrate on having fun. 

Water Manifold System. Our unique water manifold systems provide easy 

identification and cutoff points of individual hot and cold water lines, meaning that 

you don’t have to shut down the whole system for maintenance. Plus, standard sump 

pump boxes automatically discharge water from the sink and shower to prevent it 

from accumulating in the bilge.
