Limited number of seats Important dates > Deadline for preferential registrations: June 2 nd , 2011 > Late registrations will close on October 3 rd , 2011 at 18.00 (GMT + 1:00) > On site registrations will be available on October 12 th , 2011 Cancellation Conditions All cancellations must be notified in writing (by mail or fax) to the Congress Office according to the following conditions: > Before July, 11 th : Reimbursement of 50 % of the fees paid. With no payment received before cancellation, this amount will still remain due. > After July, 11 th : No refund. With no payment received before that date, the total amount will still remain due to the Congress office. > All refunds will be issued after the congress. Requests will not be accepted after the 15 th of November 2011. A special rate is available for group registrations according to the following conditions: > Minimum of 5 participants > Deadline for submitting a purchase order: August 26 th , 2011 > Invoice settlement upon receipt > Deadline for payment: September 16 th , 2011 > Unique rate for all registration types (590 € VAT included): no reduced fees will be applied > Your registration interface will be available until September 30 th , 2011 VAT information The Value Added Tax is included in all fees of the congress. According to the local Tax legislation the registration fees, the satellite symposiums, exhibition and “packages” will be invoiced with Greek VAT 23 %. Only the sponsoring sold without any other service will be invoiced according the general rule of article 44 of the Directive 112/2006/EC: Belgium VAT of 21 % for the companies established in Belgium, reverse charge for the companies established in EU country and without VAT for the companies established in non EU countries. Please note however that since January 1 st 2010, EU companies that want to claim VAT back in another EU country have to submit their claims electronically through the electronic portal of the country where they are established. Claims are no longer sent directly by the applicant to the authorities of the Member State of refund. For non EU companies, Greece applies the principle of reciprocity and only Swiss companies are entitled to claim VAT back in Greece. For Swiss companies, claims have to be submitted to the address indicated above no later than June 30 th of the year following the date of the invoice. Accommodation Hotels in and around Athens Hotel rooms at special Congress rates are being held for congress participants in various hotels of different categories nearby the Megaron Conference Center and downtown. Indicated rates are per room, per night, inclusive of breakfast and local tax. Reservations must be made through the Congress Office to guarantee the indicated rates negotiated for the Congress.
