A pane of cool, clear glass protects a scooped “cove”
top of woven linen edged in a rectangular frame of
polished wood. It all rests on an artfully primitive base
comprised of two dowel-rod stretchers that penetrate
all the way through two pairs of chamfered pillar legs.
