Make the most of your day
Our Visitor Centre tells
the story of the rocks'
geological and social history
and how the National Trust
cares for this special place.
Enjoy a picnic and
refreshments, with great
value snacks and ice-cream
available from the on-site
kiosk.
Pick up a souvenir or some
tasty Yorkshire produce
from the shop, including our
locally produced bilberry
jam.
Climbing the rocks is fun, but can also be dangerous.
Please take care and only climb within your capabilities.
Be aware of heights and sudden drops, and please
ensure children are closely supervised.

Go Llama trekking
through the rocks
with Nidderdale Llamas. It’s
great fun and really unique!
Llamas are very friendly, have
soft fleece and make super
walking companions. They’ll
even carry your belongings
whilst you walk alongside the
spectacular rock formations.
