About Exhibiting at the SMFM 33 rd Annual Meeting – The Pregnancy Meeting Exhibitions are a primary source of information for attendees making purchasing decisions The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine is a growing organization of over 2,300 physician and scientist members who are dedicated to the optimization of pregnancy and perinatal outcomes. We dedicate ourselves to improving maternal and child outcomes, raising the standards of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of maternal and fetal disease through: • Support for the clinical practice of maternal-fetal medicine • Research • Education and training • Advocacy and; • Health policy leadership SMFM recognizes that issues in maternal-fetal medicine are ever broadening and has designed the exhibit program to help foster communication between companies involved with maternal-fetal medicine and the Society. When you exhibit at the SMFM Annual Meeting in any category, you are identified as supporting and taking an active interest in the activities of the Society. Exhibiting provides benefits to both participating industry and the Society. The exhibit program is structured in levels so that you may participate at the level most beneficial to your company. The starting fee of $6,600 (Benefactor) supports the Society’s educational programs and projects. Benefits of participation are: Benefactor Exhibitor—$6,600 • Participation as an exhibitor at the SMFM Annual Meeting. One 10’ x 10’ booth space is provided to the Benefactor Exhibitor. • One complimentary lease of the SMFM member mailing list* • Two Annual Meeting registrations for the scientific sessions • Networking opportunities with SMFM leadership • Recognition at the President’s Awards Ceremony • Acknowledgement in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology SMFM Abstract Book supplement and the SMFM web site • Opportunity to reserve advertising opportunities at the Annual Meeting Patron Exhibitor—$11,000 • All the benefits of “Benefactor Exhibitor” plus: • An additional 10’ x 10’ booth space (= a 10’ x 20’ in-line booth space) • Four Annual Meeting registrations to the scientific sessions • Two complimentary leases of the SMFM member mailing list* • The option of hosting a hospitality suite (at your expense) during non-program conflicting hours at the SMFM Annual Meeting. Please note: corporate hospitality suites are limited to available space and can be scheduled on Thursday or Friday evening after 6:30pm. • Priority in reserving advertising opportunities at the Annual Meeting Premier Exhibitor—$22,000 • All the benefits of “Patron Exhibitor” plus: • A 20’ x 20’ (or comparable) booth space • Three complimentary leases of the SMFM member mailing list* • Six Annual Meeting registrations • Priority placement on signage and announcements throughout the meeting *Complimentary SMFM mailing lists are e-mailed as an Excel file (approximately 2,300 records) upon the request of the Exhibitor. This ensures that the user will receive the most up-to-date address information for SMFM members. Exhibiting companies may request their complimentary list(s) by contacting Julie Miller at jmiller@smfm.org and have one year from their exhibit application date to use all of their allotted list leases. About the SMFM Annual Meeting – The Pregnancy Meeting TM Recruiter, Non-profit and Institute Exhibits Recruiter, non-profit and institute organizations may apply for discounted exhibit space at a price of $3,000 for a 6’ table-top display. Located in the Hilton San Francisco’s West Lounge, this is a high traffic area between meeting registration and the oral presentations. Space assignments will be made on a first-come, firstserved basis until the West Lounge exhibit area is filled. Please be aware that due to fire marshal regulations, exhibits will be limited to table-top displays only. Freestanding displays and side-rails are strictly prohibited. Should a recruiter, non-profit, or institute request a booth that is not located in West Lounge area, or is of a larger size, the company must pay the full booth price. One job posting on the Society’s online Career Center is also available for recruiter exhibitors. Institutes and other exhibits that are nonprofit according to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Code are eligible to rent booth within the Non-Profit/Institute section of the exhibit area provided a copy of their tax exempt certificate is received by Exhibit Management no more than a week after submission of the exhibit space application. Exhibit space is limited to this section, located within the West Lounge, and the Society cannot guarantee availability. The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine is an organization dedicated to the optimization of pregnancy and perinatal outcomes. The SMFM carries out this mission through education in research, dissemination of research knowledge, advocacy for increasing resources for research, and by increasing awareness of the importance and impact of such research on MFM patients and the public. As the largest conference in North America focusing on maternal-fetal research and treatment, the SMFM 33 rd Annual Meeting will present cutting-edge basic, clinical, and epidemiological research. In addition to oral and poster presentations, attendees will hear from worldrenowned leaders in the specialty of maternal-fetal medicine. The SMFM Annual Meeting allows you to target your market audience face-to-face. You will gain exposure with an array of interested, highlyeducated experts who are also prime prospects with significant buying power.
