The Project
• is linked to ECO NET
According to the Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe KulturKontakt Austria implements
the project ECONET-Bulgaria financed by the Austrian Development Agency (Austrian cooperation
with Eastern Europe on behalf of the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
ECONET-Bulgaria aims at the dissemination of the training firms’ concept all over Bulgaria.
ECONET –Bulgaria is implemented by the k.education project office Sofia.
• is coordinated with the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science
• is clearly defined and limited
• new school equipment will be bought in Bulgaria for the benefit of the Bulgarian gross national
product
• all financial transactions will be conducted as trustee by Mrs. Mag. Eva Jambor, k.education
project office Sofia – see cooperating organisations
• due to its experience with its Austrian and Bulgarian partners the Rotary Club Kitzbühel
guarantees a lasting use of the project’s funds in future
• is linked to youth camps for students of the Higher Secondary Commercial Colleges Kitzbühel,
Austria, and the Technical High School for Economy Montana, Bulgaria
• the computer hardware and software together with all accessories and other items will belong
to the respective schools. They are responsible for operating costs and maintenance
• the office equipment and other items collected in Austria are donations and can be imported
to Bulgaria free of duty by the help of the Agency for International Aid, Sofia.
