Farbwiedergabeindex 

Der Farbwiedergabeindex, auch CRI (Color Rendering Index) 

genannt, ist eine theoretische Größe, die Aufschluss 

über die Farbwiedergabequalität eines Weißlichtes gibt. 

Der Wert 100 stellt im Messverfahren das Maximum und 

damit Licht mit perfekter Farbwiedergabe dar.

Lichtstärke 

Gesamtes Licht in Lumen 

Der gesamte Lichtstrom bzw. die gesamte abgegebene 

Lichtmenge einer Lichtquelle wird in Lumen angegeben. 

Damit ist diese Größe die einzige Vergleichsmessgröße 

für bessere oder schlechtere Lichtquellen. Wenn man 

nach der Energieeffizienz fragt, dann ist das Verhältnis 

von Lumen pro Watt wichtig. Achten Sie auf die angegebenen 

Daten des LED Moduls, nicht nur auf die Angabe 

der verwendeten LED. Denn durch Linsen, Reflektoren 

oder etwa ineffiziente LED Treiber können die Lichteffizienz 

eines LED Moduls stark gemindert werden.

Axiale Lichtstärke in Candela 

Der Candela-Wert ist nur dann wichtig, wenn es auf Helligkeit 

im Zentrum des abgegebenen Lichtkegels ankommt 

und nicht gleichsam auf eine effiziente Beleuchtung des 

Raumes. Ein Beispiel dafür ist ein punktuelles Hervorheben 

von Ware in einem grundbeleuchteten Kaufhaus. 

Abstrahlwinkel 

Mit dem bloßen Auge kann der Abstrahlwinkel nur bei LED 

Modulen mit fokussierter Optik klar erkannt werden. Dort 

ist der begrenzte Lichtkegel eindeutig. Bei Streulinsen 

kann man nur vage zwischen einem engen, mittleren und 

breiten Lichtkegel unterscheiden und dies in sehr starker 

Abhängigkeit vom Grundlicht des Betrachtungsraumes.
