Nikhil Katiyar,an outstanding student of CMS Gomti Nagar
Campus Ihas been selected by the Council for the Indian
School Certificate Examination (CISCE) on behalf of the
Government of India to participate in the 'Japan East Asia
Network of Exchange for Students and Youth Programme
(Jenesys-2012) in Japan. Jenesys is aunique international
event organized by the Government of Japan that provides

WithaviewtoencourageCMSstudentstotakeupRoboticsandpursuetheir
interest in takingup Robotics astheircareer,CMS haslaunched aRobotics
ExpansionProgram(REP)forjuniorandseniorstudentsofallCMScampuses.
Under this program, Mr A.S. Bedi, Head of the Robotics Department visits
various CMS campuses and demonstrates robot makingwith the help of a
film and hands-onrobotics display. A robotics workshop is also being
arranged during summer vacations for students who are keen on learning
moreaboutrobots.

Pranjal Srivastava, class Xstudent of CMS Station Road campus
secured the first rank in UP and All India rank 7th in the All India
level Science and Maths contest 'Resostart'. This national level
competition was organized under the aegis of the prestigious
competitive and educational organization 'Resonance', Kota,
Rajasthan,inwhichstudentsofover500 prestigious schoolsfrom
all over the country had participated. Pranjal was awarded a
personalcomputer(PC)andotherattractiveprizesforthisachievement.

contest was for primary category in which Aviral Kumar of Hope House and Om
MehrotraofUnityHouseplayedthefinalmatch.Boththeplayersmadejustmoves
with their pawn and castle. Aviral Kumar of Hope House defeated Om Mehrotra
