January 2012 Grand Jury Indictments
The County of Kaua'i Office of the Prosecuting Attorney announces the following indictments
from the January 2012 Grand Jury Sessions:
The Grand Jury returned a nineteen count indictment against Kevin
K. Christian, alleging that on January 5, 2012, Christian committed
the offenses of Attempted Murder in the First Degree, Use of a
Firearm in the Commission of a Separate Felony, two counts each
of Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree and Criminal
Property Damage in the First Degree, and thirteen counts of
Reckless Endangering in the First Degree by firing gunshots at a
police officer and into the property of others. Christian’s case is
set for jury trial on April 9, 2012.
Kevin K. Christian
The Grand Jury returned a four count indictment against Chance
M.P, Taala, alleging that in October of 2011 and January 2012,
Taala committed the offenses of one count of Sexual Assault in the
First Degree and three counts of Sexual Assault in the Third
Degree by sexually assaulting a minor under the age of fourteen.
Taala’s case is set for status on February 14, 2012.

Fernando Estenzo
The Grand Jury returned a seven count indictment against
Fernando and Keanu Estenzo, alleging that on October 25, 2011,
Fernando committed the offenses of one count each of Promoting a
Dangerous Drug in the Third Degree and Unlawful Use of Drug
Paraphernalia, as well as four counts of Promoting a Harmful Drug
in the Fourth Degree by possessing methamphetamine,
Testosterone, Trenbalone, Stanozolol, Nandrolone and drug
paraphernalia. Keanu is alleged to have committed the offense of
one count of Promoting a Harmful Drug in the Fourth Degree for
possessing Buprenorphine. Their cases are set for arraignment and
plea on February 14, 2012.

The Grand Jury returned a three count indictment against Joel B.
Villamor, alleging that on December 15, 2011, Villamor
committed the offenses of Burglary in the First Degree, Criminal
Property Damage in the Fourth Degree and Abuse of Family or
Household Member by entering into or remaining illegally in the
dwelling of another, injuring said person and damaging said
persons property. Villamor’s case is set for arraignment and plea
on February 14, 2012.

The Grand Jury returned a five count indictment against
Gabriel Brown, alleging that on November 20, 2011, Brown
committed the offenses of Unauthorized Control of Propelled
Vehicle, Reckless Driving of a Vehicle, Accident Involving
Damage to Vehicle or Property and two counts of Inattention to
Driving by exerting unauthorized control over the vehicle of
another, driving in such a way as to cause an accident which
resulted in damage and failed to stop or remain at the scene of said
accident Brown’s case is set for arraignment and plea on
February 21, 2012.

The Grand Jury returned a one count indictment against Suzanne
Perry, alleging that on Janauary 24, 2011, Perry committed the
offense of Prohibited Acts Related to Controlled Substances by
obtaining or attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud
or deceit. A warrant was issued for Perry’s arrest and bail was set
at $1,000.00.

The Grand Jury returned a one count indictment against Macy
Someda-Dill, alleging that on October 10, 2011, Someda-Dill
committed the offense of Unauthorized Control of Propelled
Vehicle by exerting unauthorized control over the motor vehicle of
another. A warrant was issued for Someda-Dill’s arrest and bail
was set at $1,000.00.

The Grand Jury returned an eleven count indictment against Ken
Maurice Lardizabal, alleging that on December 19, 2011,
Lardizabal committed the offenses of one count of Sexual Assault
in the Second Degree and ten counts of Sexual Assault in the
Fourth Degree by repeatedly making unwanted sexual contact with
another person. Lardizabal’s case is set for arraignment and plea
on February 14, 2012.

The Grand Jury returned a five count indictment against Wayne
Perreira, Jr., alleging that on May 31, 2011, Perreira committed the
offenses of two counts of Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the
Third Degree, two counts of Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia
and one count of Carrying a Deadly Weapon by possessing
methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and metal knuckles. A
warrant was issued for Perreira’s arrest and bail was set at
$5,000.00.

The Grand Jury returned a five count indictment against Alana
Santiago-Lumabao, alleging that on January 7, 2012, Santiago-
Lumabao committed the offenses of three counts of Assault in the
Third Degree, Criminal Property Damage in the Fourth Degree and
Unauthorized Entry Into a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree by
unlawfully entering into the motor vehicle of another, causing
bodily injury to three individuals, and damaging the property of
another. Santiago-Lumabao’s case is set for jury trial on May 14,
2012.
