TITLE OF THE THESIS :
Molecular Characterization of Viruses Occurring on Cucurbitaceous Crops in Eastern
Uttar Pradesh.
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE (Around 7 years)
Since, August 2005, I have been working on Molecular characterization of Plant Viruses,
Phytoplasma and improvement of Sugarcane crop through Tissue culture.
DETAILS OF TRAINING AND RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
1. Around Two years experience as Research Associate in Central Lab, UPCSR,
Shahjahanpur from June 2011 to February 2013.
2. Three years worked as Senior Research Fellow in Division of Tissue Culture, UPCSR,
Shahjahanpur from July 2008- June 2011.
3. Attended 21 days DBT Sponsored training programme held at IVRI Mukteswar, Nainital.
4. Attended two weeks training programme in NBRI Lucknow on DNA isolation and PCR
assays of plant viruses and phytoplasmas.
5. Two years research experience on Characterization of Plant viruses at Department of
Botany, DDU Gorakhpur University in collaboration with SRS, Gorakhpur, UP, India.
6. Attended three months training programme at Sugarcane Research Station Gorakhpur,
U.P. (August 05-Oct 2005).
7. Attended one month Training on Tissue culture of Sugarcane, at Sugarcane Research
Station, Seorahi, Kushinagar , U.P. in 2005.
8. Attended two weeks training on Microbiology at BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur, U.
P. in 2004.
