TITLE OF THE THESIS :<br />
Molecular Characterization of Viruses Occurring on Cucurbitaceous Crops in Eastern<br />
Uttar Pradesh.<br />
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE (Around 7 years)<br />
Since, August 2005, I have been working on Molecular characterization of <strong>Plant</strong> Viruses,<br />
Phytoplasma and improvement of Sugarcane crop through Tissue culture.<br />
DETAILS OF TRAINING AND RESEARCH EXPERIENCE<br />
1. Around Two years experience as Research Associate in Central Lab, UPCSR,<br />
Shahjahanpur from June 2011 to February 2013.<br />
2. Three years worked as Senior Research Fellow in Division of Tissue Culture, UPCSR,<br />
Shahjahanpur from July 2008- June 2011.<br />
3. Attended 21 days DBT Sponsored training programme held at IVRI Mukteswar, Nainital.<br />
4. Attended two weeks training programme in NBRI Lucknow on DNA isolation and PCR<br />
assays of plant viruses and phytoplasmas.<br />
5. Two years research experience on Characterization of <strong>Plant</strong> viruses at Department of<br />
Botany, DDU Gor<strong>ak</strong>hpur University in collaboration with SRS, Gor<strong>ak</strong>hpur, UP, India.<br />
6. Attended three months training programme at Sugarcane Research Station Gor<strong>ak</strong>hpur,<br />
U.P. (August 05-Oct 2005).<br />
7. Attended one month Training on Tissue culture of Sugarcane, at Sugarcane Research<br />
