The Squads of this years sporting teams took advantage of the
many opportunities to improve this summer. Many hope that their
hard work and dedication throughout the summer will prove worthy
on the field or on the court. The Cheerleading squad attended
a Universal Cheerleading Association camp hosted by 1SU. Ashley
Dana, Katie Talbot, and Autumn Stevenson were elected All-Stars
for the camp. The Pom Pon squad attended a Universal Dance Association
camp hosted by ISU. The Poms performed a great routine
and earned first place. Boys and girls basketball teams also attended
camps. The girls went to the U of I and the boys went to Bradley
University. The football team spent many hours in the weightroom
this summer pumping iron and also participated in 7-on-7's over
the summer. The team placed second at the U of I camp and won the
Farmington Passing Tourney.
