Ghost<strong>Fit</strong>ter Framew<strong>or</strong>k<br />

• The <strong>in</strong>itial difficulty lay <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> fact <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>RAF</strong><br />

sample fits over very different b<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

standard FD fiducial event analyses.<br />

• The second issue found with help from Andy<br />

Blake was an un<strong>in</strong>itialised variable be<strong>in</strong>g used <strong>to</strong><br />

name his<strong>to</strong>grams that root was happily<br />

swallow<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

• The f<strong>in</strong>al issue is we lost <strong>the</strong> knowledge of exactly<br />

how <strong>the</strong> systematically shifted <strong>RAF</strong> files that<br />

<strong>Ghostfitter</strong> needs were created. Leigh Whitehead<br />

has provided suitable substitutes.<br />

Summary<br />

• Systematic shift's seem sensible, and are certa<strong>in</strong>ly<br />

as good as <strong>the</strong>ir go<strong>in</strong>g <strong>to</strong> get without a new<br />

study/confirmation of what was done bef<strong>or</strong>e from<br />

<strong>the</strong> old <strong>RAF</strong> group.<br />

• Currently perf<strong>or</strong>m<strong>in</strong>g a full 2012 fit us<strong>in</strong>g Leigh's<br />
